In N Out is easily the most overrated burger joint around. Fatburger is much better. I will agree with Ted's hot dogs, Popeye's and Whataburger on that list though.

We don't have In & Out or Fatburgers here, but I had Fatburgers in Vegas, it was pretty food.

As for Popeye's, that place has gone to crap. Other than the red beans, I think the food is nasty.

5 guys is better than In and Out IMHO, Whattaburger is too for that matter... Never had a FatBurger, sounds like my kinda joint... I wouldn't consider half their list Fast food anyway... oh well, it's all aobut what you love I guess... Since Kansas City has the best food in the world I guess I'm lucky

I don't care for In N Out although I like their polioies and concepts.

I plan my excursions to Buffalo specifically around Ted's hotdogs locations. Just don't understand Buffalo's obsession with Loganberry.

We have the only (as far as I know) Ted's location outside of Buffalo here in Arizona. It's been here over 30 years and is very popular (near ASU) yet they've never built any more locations here???
If you didn't look out the window you'd think you were in Buffalo. They even sell the Buffalo News there!
And yes, they have Loganberry. I don't like it either.

We don't have any of those places near here. I am partial to Fuddruckers, but the only one near here closed up. All the Popeyes in the area have left too.

For pure fast food, I still go with Wendy's for overall goodness.

BK is crap! My three faves aren't easy to come by but are Chick-Fil-A, Roy Rogers and Chicken Delight. CFA has the biggest presence of the three due many mall locations, RR the least at they are mostly limted to rest stops unless you live the Maryland area.
Honrable mention to Nathan's which is I also like and has a strong mall presence.
Of the common ones Wendy's is the onbly one I'll eat of a regular basis.

It was supposedly first developed as a drink across the river from Buffalo at Crystal Beach amusement park over 100 years ago, so that probably explains how Buffaloians got hooked on the drink (the now defunct park was very popular with visiting Americans back in the day). The drink is popular in this whole area, Crystal Beach (which is just down the road from me) is still well known for it, I'm not a huge fan myself though.

I can take or leave Teds hotdogs, when I think of Buffalo area fast food, I think of Mighty Taco. (don't have one of those in Arizona, do ya Rich? )
