    Will TV ever learn?

Why is it they think what works over in England automatically means it will work here? Tomorrow ABC rolls out their version of Dragon's Den with what they call Shark Tank.

Sad thing.... it works. With tweaking. People are the same all over.

Seriouisly; you realize how many classic US shows were rips of Brit ones? (Especially during the 70's.)

Rehashing British shows for the American public is a lot better then rehashing American shows for the American public

                What's wrong with ALF?
                I love that show! LOL
                "No problem"
I still have the full page newspaper ad announcing ALF's debut.

So we're getting a rehash of a rehash? That makes sense. By they way,i realize quite a few shows here got their start elsewhere, like Three's Company and Sanford and Son. Although I blame them for giving all of those talent shows you see everywhere. And I'm sure we've sent them our fair share of clunkers.

Nah; that was inevitable. Given that we just relived the 80's again we needed "new" versions of stuff like "Dance Fever" and "Star Search." It's all cyclical.
