Thanks guys. The director/writer is a HUGE Joe fan, most of the toys were his, and he made sure to put in all the little references and extra touches.
I designed/built some of the sets, puppeteered, filmed a little of it and did a lot of the lighting. I came up with a few of the trick shots and helped design the opening Joe credit. I also assisted with editing and other post stuff.
WOW! That was a great job! Now I would rather watch that for two hours than the movie coming out. That was a blast to watch. Any chance of incorporating some fo the Adventure Team era Joes into the next story? I saw some reference to them in the beginning. Very creative and very enjoyable!

Thanks MIB41!
There was a whole Adventure Team epilogue that was planned in the original script that got cut because of time/budget constraints. I don't want to give anything away because if this gets a good reaction we might be able to still film it. Rupinder (the writer/director) is a huge AT fan and wanted the title card to give a mini history lesson of Joe. It was fun to find all those old clips and put that together.
That's fantastic, and I had to admit I had the same thought about you making a Mego movie while I was watching. You should be really proud of yourself.
