I picked up a copy of "Logan's Run" at my local Big Lots a few weeks ago. For $3.00, you can't go wrong!

Big Lots has been doin the $3 DVDs for years. It's just that in the last year or so, big studios have been dumping lots of their good product there. Maybe because the DVD market is shrinking? People switching to Blu-Ray? Who knows. But I've been most impressed with the recent $6 TV season sets. The recent inclusion of a Six Feet Under season gives me hope that more of those pricey HBO series will make it there.
Recently, the entire James Bond movie catalog has been sighted.
For those who can't seem to find the $3 DVDs, keep in mind that Big Lots usually locate these close to the front of the store on one side or the other in bins or kiosks.

Checked mine again and it's pretty much cleaned out except for The War at Home Season 1 and The OC Season 2. I did manage to find Super Friends Vol.2 though for $6.

I have to go check it out. I sent my wife and she said there was nothing there that would interest me but you know how that goes....LOL
I have just been so busy working on my house I have not had time to get out and do anything.
I did get over to WalMart though and got the Trek animated series and 1st 2 seasons of the Xfiles.

I went to a couple more Big Lots today. Only found a few season sets. I bought Wait Till Your Father Gets Home and The Justice League Collection DVD 3-Pack $6.00.

If anyone is interested, I have an extra Justice League Collection for trade. It contains three seperate DVD's in a box. They are titled Secret Origins, Justice On Trial and Paradise Lost. I can trade it for one $6.00 set or two $3.00 sets. My first choices would be Popeye or the Linda Carter Wonder Woman. I also wouldn't mind having any of the Hanna-Barbera, Super Friends or Lois & Clark sets that I don't already have.

Here's a list of what I've already picked up for myself --

HB The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show Complete Series $3.00
HB Josie and the Pussycats Complete Series $3.00
HB Space Ghost & Dino Boy Complete Series $3.00
HB The New Scooby-Doo Movies 15 Episodes $6.00
HB Wait Till Your Father Gets Home Complete First Season $6.00
              Super Friends Volume Two $6.00
Lois & Clark Complete First Season $3.00
Lois & Clark Complete Third Season $3.00
Night Court Complete First Season $6.00
and my wife bought Knots Landing Complete First Season $6.00

There's really only one close to me. Finally had a chance to go today. Picked up
Dukes season 6 for $6. It was one of the last two and the selection was pretty thin. Still glad I stopped by.

Went yesterday and couldn't find any of the stuff you guys are finding. I did get "Eddie and the Cruisers" for 3 bucks though. So it was worth the trip

I'm looking for the Birdman and Space Ghost/Dino-Boy dvd's if any one gets extras. I'll pay outright plus shipping if anyone can get them both. My local one had Lois and Clark 1, 2, and 3 last time I was there, as well as the West Wing season 2 I think. There were also a bunch of other just movie dvd's. If trading is an interest I'd be happy to see if they're still there for anyone. If any one is interested I found a very hard to find dvd of the late comedian Sam Kinison. He was the screaming history teacher from Back to School. Both his HBO specials on one dvd for $6. I only found the one but grabbed it. He was very crude but real funny. FYI if you're into that kinda comedy you might wanna look for that one. I had never seen it before and I look for that kinda stuff.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

BTW, people on DVD Talk are reporting seeing some of this stuff hitting Ralph's and Kroger. We don't have those stores here in PA, though.
Kroger is two bucks more on TV series. And they're selection isn't anything great. Sex and the City,Veronica Mars and Tracey Takes On. Regular movies was no better. King Kong and Jumper.
