I look for Logan, Coach. I'm still in need of any seasons of the Flintstones original series.

Next time we hang out, we need to watch Logan's Run. It came up quite a few times in conversation when you were here.

Logan's Run hasn't turned up on any published list of Big Lots finds that I'm aware of. There's a lot of action over at dvdtalk.com's forum in the Big Lots threads... that's where you find out what's showing up and where.

My local store's been pretty dry for a week or so, so I think the party may be over, which is fine with me because I'm getting tired of running there every few days to see what's there. I did manage to grab two seasons of Super Friends, a Challenge of the Superfriends set, the complete Wonder Woman TV series set (for $6!), Smallville Season 7 on Blu Ray, and a few other odds and ends. It's kind of ridiculous that I even bothered... I'm never going to have the time to watch all of this!

Someone on DVD Talk posted that Warner Brothers is suing a company they paid to destroy overstock DVDs and Blu-Rays. Instead of destroying them, the company turned around and sold them, and I have a suspicion that the $3 and $6 sets are the ones that were supposed to have been destroyed.

DocDraco said he saw some logans Run DVDs. If not I'm cool getting it elsewhere. I loved that movie. Todd, we'll have to watch it next year.

Sorry about that. That's what I get for not reading carefully. Yeah, Big Lots gets plenty of $3 movies. It's awesome.

BTW, people on DVD Talk are reporting seeing some of this stuff hitting Ralph's and Kroger. We don't have those stores here in PA, though.

I made a Big Lots run today and all I saw in that particular store was one copy of a Justice League Two Parter from Season 1. I knew it would be more miss than hit here.

Got Lois & Clark 1. 2. and 3 for $3 each. Justice League Origins and another. Almost 3 hours long for $6. Also found a fairly rare dvd of Sam Kinison's HBO specials. If you don't know who he was he was the screaming Vietnam vet teacher in Rodney Dangerfield's Back to School, for $6., and Dewey Cox cuz I love hat stupid comedy for $3.

Thanks to megosteve for the Kroger tip. They had a ton of movies and a few sets at really good prices. I grabbed a STAS vol 2. Passed on the Fleischer set....and TMNT season 5. One odd thing I saw at Big Lots that no one has mentioned is Thundercats, vol 2, disk 5 & 6. Saw two of them.....not sure how that happens, but they looked factory. I grabbed some more Scooby and a Frankenstein movie. I'd love to find the Superpowers set or WW complete set. The Big Lots I hit today had a really nice display 4-sided rack for these sets, with fancy labels "DVD Boxed sets for $3" and all, but it was mostly empty. I can only imagine what it had on it a few days ago. I would have done a dance if I'd found that Kinnison disc.

I almost wet myself. I stopped at the other Big Lots near me today and came home with:

Dastardly & Muttley in their flying machines, complete series
Superman the animated series Vol 1
                      Flintstones complete 2nd & 3rd seasons
Birdman & Galaxy Trio, complete series
Adv of Superman 5th& 6th season set

I wish they had more. I might seek out another Big LOts in the area and check. I want Josie & the pussycats and some of the others that were mentioned.
Oh and yes, I remember J&TP in outer space very well. It was one of my favorites. Can still remember the theme song!!

                            I worry about you guys!
I actually bought it with my kid in mind, but I've never seen it before so I had to go for it. The blonde on that show is dumber than a bag of hammers. Josie's hot though.
