With all the great movement in toy lines coming up has anyone seen the more finished trailer for Tron Legacy ? The lightcycles are redesigned and best of all Flynn is back . Any toy guys out there heard of any news on toys ?

Looks cool, but is that the actual way the movie will look? Or is the movie going to be live action? Someone told me this is not a trailer, then i ask-what is it? Like a teaser?

Tron was a lousy movie and was boring as hell.

The only thing that made it bearable was its cutting edge computer special effects - which was a unique novelty at the time.

Today the unique novelty aspect is gone because ALL movies look like this.

I'm guessing this Tron will be way worse then the original

I wasnt a huge fan myself, seen it 3 times max! Its more of a cult classic.

Tron was a lousy movie and was boring as hell.

The only thing that made it bearable was its cutting edge computer special effects - which was a unique novelty at the time.

Loved the first film and I've been excited about a sequel since talk first sprung up about it years ago. I saw the light cycle footage and it's absolutely ROCKING! This will be a very cool movie and I'm so glad we get a sequel instead of a "re-imagining". I fully expect a 3-D version. My anticipation is high!

I can tell your an optimistic person at heart . I think it will be a good movie for 2010. Anything is better than the bad movies that have hit recently and some of the superhero movies that are in the works.

Hmmmm....

Considering how common computers are nowadays, I wonder how they're gonna pull this off. When the first came out not too many folks dealt woth computers, so the idea of a world inside it was just plausible enough 'cos a lot of us could almost believe they worked 'cos of little people doin' stuff. But nowadays.... It's like making a movie about the mysterious world inside the telephone. POSSIBLE; but tricky.

Today how many folks would expect the evil villain to need a reboot at some point? Or the hero thwarted by popups? Are they gonna run into compatability issues when moving from one place to another?

I dunno.... I'll definitely give it a look when it comes out; since I do like the original.... unless I see the same old car flipping over the hero, something blowing up in a tunnel, slo-mo bullet dodge stuff in the ad.

Tron was not boring it was a bit slow the script did have holes but you have to respect the film that used the first CGI animation effects ever
I think out of all the movies the last 10 years Tron Legacy is the only one that is going to benefit greatly from the advancement in computer effects

but this this film dosent come out for another year so this teaser is a very early glimse into the new Tron world we probabaly havent seen anything yet.it is a cult film like Escape from New York but I think it will be a hit next year which is saying alot from me I have thought almost 99 percent of the new films that have come out are crap .this looks better then anything I have seen coming to theaters lately. Jeff Bridges is the man he rocks at 60 and I wonder how Bruce Boxleitner will look .they should have cast David Warner at least in a cameo?
