    Sweetest Thing I Ever Heard!!!!

My youngest just turned 3 a couple weeks ago. For a couple months prior to it, we were telling her, when you turn 3, no more night time pull ups (she is potty trained other than when she is sleeping) and no more nighttime milk (she takes a sippy cup to bed with her).

Well, the last couple weeks, it has been hard for her not having that night time milk. She is not completely weened, and she gets milk a couple times a week.

Well tonight, she wanted milk and I told her no. She goes in her room and puts on a pull up (because she knows when she gets milk, she has to wear a pull up). She comes out and pleads her case again for milk and I tell her no again.

Her reply in a soft, meaningful angelic voice (not yelling or screaming):

    "I don't want to turn 3!!!"

Just like a woman, lying about her age!!!!!

I tell the kids no milk after a certain time. If they want milk they should have asked for it earlier. Then they're sad but I am the law.

shoot man I couldn't say no if a little one wanted some milk, no matter what time of day it is.

I've even had my niece when she was like 4 years old come and wake me up at like 2 or 3 am asking for milk ... yes I got it for her. I might be soft, but it's not like it's a cola or some sugar filled junk

Mine uses milk as a pacifier/security blanket. She needs it to go to sleep and we trying to break he of it.

Another thing she is addicted to is Pedisure. For some reason she calls it chocolate-ala (no matter what flavor). If we walk near the baby section of Wal-Mart, she starts, "We need Chocolate Ala!!!"

We did finally break her of it, now just got to break that bedtime milk.

My daughter was doing similar things at that age, but for her it was orange juice. Now, at 6, she automatically start getting herself ready for bed, brushing her teeth, etc. There is hope around the corner
                    It's all good!
