I took this picture 15 years ago while taking a B/W photography class at LSU. I love b/w photography and this is actually two negatives, the fireworks and the balloon/background.
I took the picture of the balloon just before they took it down for the fireworks. When I took a picture of the fireworks, they were so high, the background was out of frame.
I didn't have a tripod, so both shots were taken handheld. That was very hard because the shutter stayed open for about 10 seconds each time. I actually didn't care for the print at first because of the shaky lights in the picture. My teacher saw a test print and told me to develop it anyway. It was one of the top pictures for the semester.
So I just shot the photopaper with the negative of each and here is the results.
