I was browsing around and I just found out that Russell Crowe is going to be portraying Robin Hood ? I can't be only person that thinks this , but What The **** ? Why would they cast him. There had to be 100 better choices for Universal than Crowe.
In The " Real World " Vampires Do Not Sparkle. They Burn In the Sun !
I've heard this film is aimed at being more in tune with how things were at the time. I hesitate to say historically accurate, as that could open up a worms nest about whether Robin Hood was real or not. Anyway, from the pictures I've seen, Crowe looks like a middle ages archer in the film...Not all in green, nor dressed like an 80's music video version like Costner was. It should be good.
Is it me or does it just seem like it's not been long enough for them to do another one? I guess I can understand though because I thought Robinhood Men in Tights was better than Costner's version. Nothing beats the Flynn version. But if they can do it anything like Crowe's Gladiator, I think it will be a hit.
Speaking of Flynn, I just watched "They Died With Thier Boots On" with Flynn portraying General Custer. Now That is one that I highly recommend.
