Visiting Oklahoma City

I went up to Oklahoma to visit my buddies James (Garagesale) and Todd (Saildog), two of the best guys I know. We went to the memorial where the Oklahoma City bombing took place and went to the museum. The whole experience was eye opening and sad. Seeing little children who were murdered by that ****ant McVay really had an affect on me. They showed picture of the dead and in a plexiglass box stuff the families had brought to remember the dead. Seeing the kids with stuffed animals and child toys in their boxes had myself and James choked up. I'm sure it made Todd do the same thing. I hope we never forget that terrorists come in all colors and nationalities.
BTW I had a great time hanging with my boys! Hopefully we will get more to come next year and make this an annual. Todd, James and I have plans to expand our get together.

Coach, I am so glad you came up. That was one of the best times hanging out that I have had in a long time.

You and JamesD are both so easy to be around that there is no period of getting reacquainted. It's like, "let's pick up where we left off last time and get right into hanging out". I had a great time and I wish times like that could be more frequent.

Next time, the two of us need to drive down to Houston.

It was such an honor to drive you around my City, Dude. Good times, to be sure!

wish i could have been there, guys...but if you read my other post(in general)...you will see what i got to do this weekend instead..and nothing like it was supposed to happen, either..lol..glad you boys had fun...

No offense buddy and I'm glad your wife is going to be ok but you told me LONG before that that you would not come. Your wife is not the reason you did not come. Like I stated though, I'm glad all is ok.

and you're right, but i do wish that i could have gone(no matter what went on)..but with trying to move(first of AUG), trying to save up for the baby, etc...it just didnt happen...now next year might be a whole new thing(will have moved, had the baby, etc)...so it could be open..never know..lol..
