    When visiting Metropolis...

    You may notice some imposters along the way... I thought I would post these pics from my visit a couple of years ago. Yes, this is Metropolis, Illinois and once each year they have a gathering for those who love Superman. Here are some of the dress ups that were strolling the streets.

    Interesting combo... Greatest American...eh...something.

      What the hell ........ They know that Ralph, Spidey, and Thor do not work Superman's beat right ? Gah ! No wonder the Man Of Steel goes rogue from time to time.

          I heard about this place on the Travel Channel. It looks so cool, Great pics. I'd Love to visit their Superman Museum

              It's amazing how an ordinary nothing town can steel a fictitous name and claim it as their own to make money.

              Maybe i'll suggest changing my towns name to THE SECOND DEATH STAR FROM RETURN OF THE JEDI

                  I've got extensive pics of that and will post them on a seperate thread. Amazing stuff in there and equally amazing how unkept most of it is. A story behind that and I'll discuss it on that thread. Anyone who is a Superman fan will NOT want to miss those pics. This guy has literally EVERYTHING in Superman lore including most original props from all the shows dating back to
                  the beginning.

                      I've been to the Superman Museum. Pretty cool place. I spent the whole time looking for megos in all the stuff on display. Walking through the fortress was pretty cool as well.
