Would you ever legally change your name? If so to what?

My fiance's first name is Juliane pronounced 'Julie-anne'. People always seem to have a problem with this and so she is thinking of adding a second 'n' when we get married. Not a big deal but it got me thinking. I assume she'll use my last name, but that isn't really what I'm getting at. I have another friend that legally changed her name from Jessica to Phoebe when she turned 18. It fits her better anyway, but her mom still calls her Jessica.

Do you hate your given name? Does it cause you problems with spelling or pronounciation so bad you wanted to legally have it changed?
    or
    Have you changed your name??
    or
If you did change it what would you pick?

I wish my last name was Broccoli. I have no idea why, but I think it would be a fun last name.

well my name is one I don't need to change Russ Gould might have a few mess ups with the last name like being called Good or Gold but over all nothing too bad.

now I was just watching an old wild life show and the one guy's last name was Semen now if I had that last name heck yeah I would change it. I know after a couple times of hearing his name on the show I started to flash back to that Jr. High age kind of humor and giggle at the poor guy's name lol lol

I always thought Spatula was a cute name, even though it's a kitchen utensil. Try to forget that and picture the name Spatula Ann. Or Anomalie.

Fortimer Puddlejump Thrackwasher the third (added "the third" just to throw people off the fact the name was changed).

I figure if your going to the time and trouble and expense of changing your name, you might as well make it a memorable one with lots of letters as to ensure you get your moneys worth!!

I changed my last name when I got married. Easier to spell that one than de Jesus. People always asked me to repeat that.
