ABC TV looking for action figure collectors for Wifeswap...

ABC TV looking for action figure collectors for Wifeswap... the show, that is...

Anybody from the museum want to get famous??

    http://www.actionfigurecollectors.co...ing_july09.php

ABC's "Wife Swap" is Casting Collector Families!

We just received word from the ABC Network that they are now casting for their 5th Season of the show "Wife Swap" and they are looking for Collectors! Yup, this is your chance to show the world your collection, the collector way of life and maybe get a look at your total opposite in the process. If you think you (and your family) have the best collection going, then we want to hear from you!

The premise of Wife Swap is simple: for seven days, two wives from two different families with very different values exchange husbands, children and lives (but not bedrooms) to discover what it's like to live a different family's life. It's an interesting social experiment and a great way to see your family in a whole new light. It is shot as a documentary series, so no scripts and no set. There's just a small camera crew that documents your life.

The show's only real requirements are that your family consists of a two-parent home with at least one or more children between the ages of 7 and 17 living at home full time.

There's a nice payoff for doing this too! Families appearing on the show will receive generous compensation... more funds for your collection!

If you are interested, please email AFC at [email protected] and we'll pass your contact info along to ABC. In your email please include a short description about your family and contact info such as email, phone numbers and address. ABC will take it from there!

Good luck to you all. We look forward to hopefully seeing you, your family and your collection on TV!

Well, as long as they'll take credit on a wife (being I ain't got one), I'm game. She can come live here.

Heck, D....you just described my entire History of dating (and it is quite the rap sheet, Dude ).

The point is, I wouldn't mind showing off my collection to a National Audience. I just ain't gotta Wife for collateral.

I'd swap my wife for more action figures.

I think that would be Divorce Court, not Wifeswap...

wifeswap is a scam, if you like the other wife better you can't even keep her after filming.

You mean this show is still on the air? I thought it was canned long ago.

Tempting but I'm holding out for a spot on Season 2 of 'Dance your *** off.'
No exclusives and no chase figures, please - I'm Canadian!

                          So many scenarios are possible:
"I threw away all those dollies. I added some potted plants instead. Aren't you pleased?"
"I threw away all your packaging, so your dollies are easier to cram into a box in the basement."
"I gave some toys away to send to Third World kids. I believe the carded one said 'Mego Iron Man'. Super, yes?"

And the super bonus: the whole world now knows about your collection, so they can come and steal it.

Be sure to sign up for this, guys!
