I was browsing the web to see where the best place is to buy Anime and I really want the official versions-not the bootlegs that flooded the market in the 1990's. Other than Amazon and DVD empire what sites are good for buying the collections of TV series like Space Battleship Yamato and even adult stuff like Welcome to Clinic Ogenko?

Hmmmm....
We've got a place at the mall that's really good for stocking stuff like that. You can try online too; a lot of the companies sell stuff directly. It pays to look around, since there's SO MUCH out there. Some of it can be tricky to find though; like comic fans Japanese cartoon fans can be pretty fickle, so older stuff is often forgotten or derided "'cos the animation's bad!"
Yamato/Starblazers might be tough to find on disk, since the show's over 30 years old. BUT it's a classic, well known, and I bet SOMEBODY put it out. For some of the more obscure stuff you might have to watch it online from fan sites and such. (I'm still hoping somebody does a proper region 1 DVD release for "A****a no Joe.") There's still a ton of stuff that's never made it over here.
