I'm wonderin gif I should swim at my neighborhood pool

Went to the neighborhood pool with my daughter yesterday. As I was watching her swim, I stopped and looked at the rules posted on the fence. After 3 yrs I thought it was best to read them. After reading the rules I wonder if its safe to get in

You'll have to read the sign to figure out what I'm talking about. By the way this is a family friendly pool

Is this a NEW Wednesday Morning Trivia. . . .are there cards at stake HERE?

Well they have a pool for over 18s ONLY. . . .but no LOVE MAKING is allowed!

and you can;t have floaties if the pool is "CROWED" ? Whoa. . .get a spell checker! LOL!

That no drinking is a real concern as well!

The Love Making is what got me..... The sad thing is I found a few years ago a couple decided to "Make Love" right in front of everyone kids included. Hence the rule on the sign

I guess their insurance won't cover groin injuries either then. . .screw at your own risk as well?

Well how are kids gonna get an education then? And I have NEVER heard of an "R" rated pool before. . . .for 18's and over only? What is that about?

Well at least you can have alcohol at the sub-pool, just not the main one.

Yeah, "crowed". What does that even mean? I guess all the crows may puncture the floaties?

At least you have a public pool. Ours was shut down and paved over years ago. My wife has to take the kids a half hour away to swim.

We have 2 pools. The large one is the Main pool and is for families. There is a smaller pool for adults that don't want kids splashing around and having fun.

If that's a public pool owned by the town, I dont think they can legal say they assume no liability and swim at your own risk.

Regardless of that sign if anything bad ever happened, you'd probably be able to sue the town easily.

I don't think liability signs even protect owners in private pools etc.

What about the Love Making then Mike. . . .reckon that holds any water either?

Thanks Mitch. . . .I am so used to their being 2 pools. . . .one 18 inches deep for kids and a normal one for everyone to use. That concept of a pool for over 18's just seems so foreign from my own experience. . .WOW. . . must be the Dennis the Menace Factor!

I still think liabilty signs mean nothing.

It's like selling something on ebay and clicking the NO RETURNS option.

The buyer can still backcharge you -- which makes the no returns option useless

I know the sign is about worthless. It just struck me a funny when I read it last night. THen I hoped they kept enough chlorine in the pool to keep the water clean.

I'm more worried about getting crowed. Do Alfred Hitchcocks Birds decend on the pool and peck your eyes out ? Oh..... wait thats right there is no love making.

Hmm...they covered almost everything. Doesnt say anything about relieving yourself in the pool, so I guess thats ok, as long as your not making any loud noises, or pushing or shoving anyone whilst in the act.
