Back in the 80's I used to love going to Resorts International Casino --- owned by Merv.

It was the only place in AC where you really had a chance of walking out ahead-- which I did from time to time.

When Merv sold it back in the mid 90's ...... it became what all other casinos are --- a tourist cash wastebasket.

Merv was good......... because he let people win sometimes.

i didnt realise he was sick. sad to hear he passed wheel of fortune is my favorite game show. he had a great show with teh merv griffin show . now he can meet some of is idols he never cahtted with on earth. mike

^I'm not exactly sure what he had, but I vaguely recall hearing he had prostate cancer? I'm not sure. I suspect tomorrow there will be more info on ET or Larry King Live or something.
