Joyce DeWitt Gets Picked Up for DWI

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – An actress who starred on the hit television series "Three's Company" has been arrested in Southern California and cited for drunken driving. Police say Joyce DeWitt, who played the character Janet Wood on the popular show, was pulled over Saturday afternoon after she drove past a barricade near a park in El Segundo.

Sgt. Danny Kim says an officer arrested the 60-year-old DeWitt after he observed signs she had been drinking and gave her field sobriety tests.

Kim says DeWitt was booked at the Police Department, cited and released on her own recognizance.

A telephone listing for DeWitt was not immediately available.

What a shame. As far as the pictures it's just make more make up. I saw her last year at a show and the "2 years ago" pick is accurate. Again she's just wearing more make up as opposed to very little in the mug shot.
I met her at an '07 show and she couldn't have been nicer. Spent plenty of time talking to people and seemed to geniuine enjoy it. A bad decision here on her part but thankfully no one was injured.

Just glad no one was hurt. I knew someone who had performed in a show she was headlining and I heard she was just as nice as could be. People sometimes make bad mistakes and hopefully this will be a lesson learned before something terrible happens.
