    RIP Mrs. Slocombe (Mollie Sugden)

Actress/comedian Mollie Sugden (Mrs. Slocombe on Are you Being Served) has died at age 86.

Lots of great 70's memories from that TV show.... (I'm grateful to PBS so that we in the US could see it).

Too bad. A really funny lady...

Always liked her. Was always fun when she would show up for the PBS pledge drive.

The Young Miss Brahms , was a character called Pauline Fowler in the Eastenders from the mid 80's until recent times. I didn't realize she died until your post sail dog. . . that is sad too. . . .she was so hot as Miss Brahms.

The Grim Reaper must be working OT! Waaaaay too many celebs passing in such a short time. Very sad. Worse, I've had three losses in June with family and friends as well. Unbelievable...and now Karl Malden....

I loved Are You Being Served! I first caught it on public television about 15 years ago in Philadelphia then they brought over people like Mollie Sugden, John Inman, and Trevor Bannister to help their pledge drives.

One of my favorite shows to watch. I always like that her hair is different in each episode. Make me giggle. RIP
