    VHS to DVD help

Hey gang, I was wondering if there is anyone hear that can help me out. I have 5 kids vhs tapes, that my daughter really likes and wanted to get them burned onto a dvd. I do not have the equipment to do this.

Is there anyone here who could help me out if I sent them the tapes? Please let me know, and how much it would cost.

    Thanks in advance

To be honest, if I were you, I'd buy a cheap DVD recorder with VHS at Walmart, convert the tapes to DVD and then take it back
Tell them you either made a mistake because your tapes are Beta (play dumb)... or just say it don't work.
Worst thing that can happen is they give you store credit

Are they store bought tapes? If so, you might have a problem with copy protection if you just go for an off the shelf DVD recorder (you would need a video stabilizer). What are the tapes names exactly. I can do them for you if you can't find another way.

It's probably a safe bet that those ones aren't copyguarded. If you just want to copy these and that's it, Mike's idea is pretty good. Sometimes you just have to take advantage of Walmart's liberal exchange policy.
