Joe Jackson...some piece of work he is...

Joe Jackson is truly a piece of garbage scum:

Al Sharpton spins Joe Jackson's bizarre CNN interview

The worthless uncaring sob is pitching a new record label of his...instead of grieving for his son.

...and Al Sharpton...what a piece of work he is as well...excusing Joe Jackson's behavior.

Cold-blooded praying mantis...no wonder Michael grew up messed up in the head.

    He'll get his soon.

Al Sharpton really knows how to make himself look like he has no basis for
      truth or justice.

Did you really expect the rest of the Jackson family to act with dignity? OK, Janet is, but the rest of them were money grubbing hangers on to the MJ empire when he was alive, so it should be no different now that he is worm food.

If they all cared so much about him they should have starightened him out years ago. But instead it seems they all rode the cash train and sisn't care where it was headed.

none of this surprises me. Giving them custody of the kids so they can be exploited is a bad idea.

they'll be pumping out his songs for years, hell Tupac has a new cd coming out. they said jackson has 200+ songs recorded.

For a very popular musician like Jackson, having songs in the vault is better then life insurance.

I'm surprised more popular musicians don't consciously do that.

While they're recording an album, just put one or 2 songs away in the vault.

By the end of their life, their family will be set up big-time.

No wonder Jackson was as messed up as he was. He always struck me as a man trying to find his lost childhood, but without any direction to know when to stop. That being said, I have a very tempered perspective as far as feeling "sadness" for him or anyone in that camp. They all seemed like a very manipulative group that were constantly blowing money and borrowing more without any regard for what they actually earned. From the moment Jackson died, you could see the vultures swarm in and I got to tell you, if we can see that from this vantage point, the real perspective is surely a 100 fold worse. But it is what it is. He's gone and that family will peddle his legacy like nothing the Elvis camp ever dreamt possible. I think in due time this wave of interest will blow over though. I like his first two solo records, "Off the Wall" and "Thriller". There were a couple of songs here and there that were pretty good after that but for me he was an 80's icon and that is where he'll remain in my mind. All of this "King of Pop" nonsense is bloated hype that I refuse to buy into.

The truth will come out someday but I really believe the father is the source of the problems with the entire Jackson family.

The dude used to beat the snot out of those kids if they missed a dance beat during rehearsals and he constantly made of MJ's looks (pre plastic surgery).

It seems like his love was only conditional on one thing....money.

I remember years ago he was asked if he used to beat his kids for missing dance moves during rehearsals, etc. and his response was something along the lines of "Yeah, I was hard on them but just think, Michael Jackson wouldn't have been as rich as he is if I wasn't" Truly sad.

Yeah Joe showed up at an award ceremony And they asked him why he was there And he said the world lost a great pop star...

DUDE HE WAS YOUR SONshow a little more then that. All he was to that family was a meal ticket.

That is what ticks me off about them giving Jacksons kids to them.
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
                              Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.
