    Hector....

    ...you "asked a question"....

    ...and I "answered it".

No need to get your "big fat hairy arse" all worked up about it.

I even (OBVIOUSLY) agree with you that it's an unfortunate situation
that that's the "way it is" when it comes to others deserving
more credit in some respects in the grand scheme of life.

However, I am surprised that anyone would minimize the
importance of celebrities to humanity....entertainers particularly.

When a child is dying in a hospital, they don't get
"scientists, teachers, firefighters, theologians" to visit the kid to lift his
    spirits...
they get the rock band JOURNEY...or some other famous
    person.

    Why?

Because whether you want to accept reality or not Hector...
these people are wholeheatedly admired and appreciated for what they do
    by many, MANY people.

What you have as an opinion is admirable (apart from belittling
entertainers life's work as well as their fans deep connection with it)
...and I accept that stance you have with understanding...
    but it's not reality.

"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
