My best friend's favorite band is also the Grateful Dead.

Every time I go to his pad...I have to listen to them...every time.

So...if I was stuck on an island forever...and all I had was Grateful Dead CDs (with a solar-powered player of course)...I would throw them all into the ocean...I'm so sick of them already.

Were the Hoodoo Gurus a "popular" band in Australia? Over here in the States they had more of an underground following. I liked them back in high school in the mid 80's, but I must say their catalog hasn't really held up for me. I still like Stoneage Romeos, though....

Yeah. . .they were popular here. . . .Still some of my favourite music. Brad Shepherd the Base Guitarist is also a bit of a local hero around here, as he went to Scouts with my Older Brothers in the late 1970's early 80's.
