To be honest...it's not really a shed...it never was.

It was built with the idea of converting it to a guest room in the future.

It's cheaper then wood, looks very nice and it lasts forever

      Dude...that looks awesome!

I think I'm going that route for the cottage as well.

I mean...most of our entire house has brand new hardwood floors (even the kitchen)...it was expensive as heck...it looks great...but expensive.

By the cottage having tiles...it will be totally different from the norm...something different.

Since this is an outside shed, the tropics theme will give it a resort bungalow feel.
        Good points, Mike.

I remember last year, when his Wife threatened to bar him from having a Halloween Party if he didn't remodel the Bathroom and he cranked out a damned good job.

Hector, I just remembered that my Dad laid tile in their Sun Room and he used a colored grout that made the tiles really pop. It's black and looks really cool. (The tiles are kind of Terra Cotta colored.)

There are different colors that you can add to the grout, but I know for sure he bought Black grout without having to add the coloring.

Still think you need to check into stained concrete (if it has a concrete floor)

We have a building on Campus with stained concrete and it is remarkable.

I have no clue what it costs or how difficult it is to pull off, but damn! it is pretty.

I have OCD, too.........in fact, my friends jokingly refer to me as "Monk"

Let me ask you this.....what is more likely: a dark stain on white grout (and grout deceptively shows EVERYTHING) or a light stain on black grout? Black grout looks much cleaner and it POPS!!!!

home depot carries a small tile saw too for about $100.00. it is well worth the money if you are doing it yourself. I put the same tile Damian had in that photo in my kitchen and it looks great. I've tiled the entry way, stair landing, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and also gutted and redid my sisters bathroom for her. Gets a lot of use.

we'll have to start a thread about home improvement projects...i'm in the middle of a doozy right now
