The "Death of the Hulk" was actually suppose to be a set up for the "Return of the Hulk". Lou Ferrigno talks about this in his own book and has qoutes from Bill Bixby backing up the strategy at that time. That film was never intended to be the last so, in many ways, it turned out to be more prophetic than originally intended. What many people don't realize is the Hulk television series was not cancelled due to poor ratings. It had gotten, believe or not, too expensive to shoot so the studio pulled the plug in mid-season. Here's a good trivia question: Do you know what replaced it in mid-season? The Dukes of Hazzard. Yee haw...

LOL! Yes I remember the Friday night line up!

8:00 PM-9:00 PM was Wonder Woman
      9:00 PM-10:00 PM was Hulk
10:00 PM-11:00 PM was Dukes Of Hazzard

Great days those late 70's were!

there was a rumor that ironman was suppost to be in "death of the incredible hulk" it would of been interesting to see a late 80's ironman.

Jeez that movie was kind of a stinker but it still brings a tear to my eye when he says...
" I am free...* " and then he dies.
Ranks right up there with spocks death for me.
“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”

I kind of liked Eric Kramer's Thor. For TV, he was pretty good and I liked the actor they chose.

Yeah, I always thought the "death" was not at all convincing and too sad... My wife refuses to acknowledge it into the TV canon!

At least we haven't seen any attempt (a la Smallville) to bring the show back to the small screen as an angsty teen drama... that would be "all kinds of wrong." (which is why I shouldn't even bring up the possibility.... given today's TV! LOL).

Yeah, it would have been a bit more convincing if someone of importance was there...like McGee, where he sees The Hulk was David Banner all along as Banner dies in front of him. The way it was presented was pretty bad.
