Do you live near where you grew up?

My grandmother lives on the same street where I grew up, Played kickball, setup ramps to jump my bikes.

everytime I drive down the street I want to park my car and get out and run and play.

I've lived my whole life within a one mile radius of the house i was born in.

If i extended that to 3 miles i could include all the places i ever worked at aswell.

I live about 20 miles from where I grew up.

My mother and siblings all live in different cities/states but are all still within a 30 minute drive from my current home.

My Dad was in the Air Force so I "grew-up" in 4 states and 2 countries. But I do live now in the town my mother is from and where my parents lived when they got married. And I did spend time here at different ages while growing up, so yea, kinda.

I live in the same county I was born and raised in, so yeah. I was a townie back then, and a country boy now.

Literally a thousand miles away ... from the urban metro Boston area to a small town on the Kentucky/West Virginia line ... talk about culture shock for my wife and me! LOL

(The cost of living is low and the weather is nice and since we both can work from home, anywhere there is an internet connection , we can take advantage of that).

I don't live in the town I was born in but I do live about 20 minutes from the town I spent most of my life in and go there every weekend to visit my parents with my kids (my brother still lives in that town too)

After moving to several places farther away, a few years ago I ended up moving back to the small town I grew up in. I tried to escape, but the damn place just dragged me back.

I bicycle by my childhood home once or twice a week, getting an odd look from a grade school friend's parents each time. This week while walking with my daughter I discovered not one but two guys I went to highschool with have purchased their childhood homes.

I'm kinda close, about 2,000 miles away. Really have no need or want to go back except to see the family.

Born, mostly raised, and currently living in the same place of Oakland, Ca.

To specifically answer your question...I live about 2-3 miles from where I was born.

I live about 20 miles from where I was born, but my mom just moved back to the same street about a year ago. It's a terrible neighborhood now,it gives me the creeps everytime I go see her. It's 2 minutes from the Orange bowl and Down town Miami
