    What's your birth order?

Do you believe birth order has anything to do w/ your personality. I do. I'm the baby of my family, (well of my mom's kids, my dad had more kids later), and I was somewhat endulged, and maybe even a little spoiled. I know that older kids tend to want more control, middle kids have insecuirty issues, babies are kinda spoiled.

So what's your birth order? Does your personality match up w/ the stereotypes?

TORTURED! Well, it is said that the only one of a gender among siblings is the spoiled one. Were you?

I'm the oldest of 4. I like to be in charge, and I'm not shy on giving my opinion and taking control of a situation that needs it.

My youngest sister is truely the baby of the family. We're both steriotypical.

My best friend is a middle child and he says everything you hear about middle children being overlooked is true. He has 3 kids and he says there's nothing to stop it even though he tries to shelter his middle kid.

I find that among people I know I dislike more firstborns, find middle born most interesting, but think that the babies are the nicest... but that's not my scientific findings, I'm just quick with an opinion.

I was in a unique position.

There is 13 years between my older brother and me. So I am the baby, but I also grew up as a only child since he moved out when he was around 20.

I have a brother 10 years older than me. I am 2nd oldest, have a younger brother (18 months between us) and a younger sister.

I felt like the oldest though because like Mitch said, my brother moved out when he was 18 and I was only 8.

I generally have a bit of a leadership role among my siblings, my younger brother generally got treated like a typical middle child, and my sister was spoiled rotten. She was the youngest and the only girl. My mom still shows favoritism towards him to this day.

I have an older brother. He kicked my butt, a lot. I learned how to manipulate him to look bad at the worst moments. He would kick my butt some more. He got the more strict upbringing. I would act more responsible yet learned to get away with far more things, taking full advantage of the parental guilt syndrome associated with first children. Yeah, I'd say that fits the typical 2 brother / younger child stereotypes.

I'm the oldest with only 1 younger brother. I was always tall (6'4") but my little brother was always shorter than me growing up so I picked on him from time to time as older brothers will do. Well, when he reached 10th grade he hit a serious growth spurt. He's 6'6". He cleaned my clock one time and that was that. He said it was payback

My oldest son starts the 11th grade Monday and is 6'6" as well. You have no idea how short I feel standing between him and my brother.

I was either an only child, the youngest of nine, or an older brother, depending upon who you ask and your point of view.

My dad had eight children with three different women before he met my mother. I didn't know any of them (they're all a lot older than me!) very well, and never lived with them, so I certainly felt like an only child. And then, when I was sixteen, my mother had a daughter with her third husband, (Her second, my dad, died in 1981, three years previous) and I felt more like a babysitter to her than a big brother.

So I'm not sure how you classify me!

I'm one year older than my brother. We pretty much got treated the same way, neither one of us was more spoiled than the other.

I'm the youngest of three. I don't think I was spoiled, though. Well, maybe a little bit, but I don't think it reflects on my personality now. My brother is the middle child and I do think he carves attention because of it.

Yes very true the youngest is always spoiled. Im the middle child of 5 boys no girls. My youngest brother is 13 years younger and man he get everything he wants. Even down to my parents buying him a 06 mustang. As a child had to work for everything we got. My parents spoil me now as an adult because out of five children Im the only one that calls and visits and usually help them out when they need it. My youngest brother lives in the house with my parents but is usually on planet 9 with his live in girlfriend.
