    I feel your pain.
It's been hovering at a hundred for something like a week here. 5-10 degrees over the average temps according to the weather station. bleh
We had some utility folks here replacing a power pole yesterday. It was 101 by the weather station. 106 by my outside thermometer and these fellows were in jeans and long sleeved shirts (had to wear the company logo). I think they went through a case of powerade in 2 hours. Good thing too, or one of 'em might have dropped.

    Time to go north.

I'm right there with you. It's been like that all week here. And to think July and August aren't even here yet.

We here in the UK are just getting ready to spend our whole weekend in torrents of rain.

Sold four AC systems today alone, ten or eleven deep for the next two weeks IF we don't sell another system in that time.
If you think it's hot outside, it's really hot in those attics.

I can't believe this is summer and it's in the low 70s in the Bay Area. It's cold to me. When I get in the car, I crank the heat up to 80. When it gets above 80 degrees, the AC kicks in. I'm always cold in office. People set the office temperature to be in the low 70s, and I'm always wearing scarves and a jacket or wool sweater.
