Transformers' Revenge of the Fallen - getting bad reviews

Bummer! Only batting 22% on Rotten Tomatoes after 109 reviews. Oh well. What do critics know, right? I'll be going to see it anyway. Even though Transformers, as a toy, was a generation after me I thought the first movie was very clever given it's source material. I'm looking forward to a good time at the movies. Honestly how critical can you be about a movie involving an early 80's toy? Lighten up critics.

I don't think Transformers lends itself to critics liking it. It's a total corporate piece, it's all action, it's based on a toyline.

They'd have to go out of their way to mess this one up, IMO. As long as it wows and entertains, I'll be satisfied. Seeing it this Friday.

I just got back from the movie and was very disappointed. If you have young children, I'd say under 8, do not bring them. VERY adult humor in this movie. Also the plot line is confusing especially in the big battle scene. I didn't know who was who. Oh, and by the way, there will be a number 3.
