Vegas casino owner and art collector Steve Wynn was entertaining a small group of friends in the fall of 2006 when he decided to show them his prized Picasso "Le Reve," ("The Dream"). He had recently agreed to sell the piece for $139 million to fellow collector and hedge fund director Steve Cohen. Was ironing a 17th/21st lancer belt (action man) that I got in a overseas auction and the iron was to hot and it melted right to the iron. Last piece I needed to complete the figure. Was the one that came to mind when I was reading this.

I had a full metal Robby figure from Japan.

I bumped into it, it fell, and his dome was cracked.
I've never been able to display it since.
Can't look at it.....

The only thing I can think of off hand was taking a relatively rare and expensive Redskins pennant to the dry cleaners so it could be cleaned and pressed without damage.

I was assured it would be handled with kid gloves but when I went to retrieve it; it was in worse condition than when I dropped it off. Some of the colors were running together and the decal must have had an iron directly on it which removed some of it.

not accidently but i did rip open a carded goblin , well you know how hard it can be to find a loose greenie is good shape. i remember a seller on ebay it must of been like 10 years ago who sold really nice looking loose megos and got above value prices too but he would always write he opened it from a rough card and some of the ones he had were ironman , teen titans, lizard and other ones who are really tough to find carded. if he was telling the truth he's an idiot.
