G1 Transformers experts - Anyone Recognize this Guy
G1 Transformers experts - Anyone Recognize this Guy
The estate sale I priced all the GI Joes and Transformers for gave me this as payment for the help (along with all spare pieces). I cannot find him anywhere in the inserts I have. He is quite big, about 10" tall. Any help?
That's *not* a G1 Transformer. The head is all wrong, plus he looks like he's made almost entirely of plastic. In addition, the Decepticon logo is either plastic or painted purple. G1 logos were stickers. Also, none of the G1 Decepticons were whatever that vehicle is. They were mostly jets, with a few guns, a tape deck, cassettes and whatnot thrown in.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?
After I posted it, I did realize he is not G1 because he has the later logo, but I still cannot find him.
Could be a knock off?

Its not a knock off, it is called "Scorponok". Found it on transformerland.com after searching for an hour. It is from 2004 Energon line. I spend 2 days pricing old G1 figures, bring them back and I find this one in a box. She gives it to me. Oh well, win some, loss some. But I did get ALOT of loose G1 weapons and pieces.

Thats Scorpinok from the Armada/Energon transformers line. 1to2 yrs old. Estimated value missing the parts & opened... probably like 4 bucks.

BTW.. his character was made in the later G1 days as well,.. however he is a totally different transformer but is concept was still the same. But he was a triple changer ,.. Robot/Playset/Scorpion ... this version of the character only has 2 modes.
