A comfortable 73 here, with 64% humidity. We hit 95 last week and stayed there through the weekend, so it's nice to finally have some relief!

It's raining here. Streets are flooded, basements are inundated. We had as much rain today as we usually have in a month

It seems more like Hell on Earth with this massive heat wave we're having. In the Chattanooga TN area and surrounding counties, it was around 99 to 100 degrees with the heat index around 105 degrees. Although it was a little clearer today, it's been hazy as all hell can get. And not a snowball's chance for rain. I'm going to a Stars and Cars Show in Canada this weekend and I sure hope that it's at least clearer without all this haze. I only wish one thing would happen to this drought and heat wave combination we're having: :die:

I manage to miss the worst of the heat. I work third shift, so I'm sleeping with the AC cranked during the hottest part of the day. I usually keep the central air running at around 72 degrees from May to September. The bills are murder, but I just hate being hot in my own apartment

Worse here today than yesterday temp is to hit 101 with heat index of 105.

Today is day four of heatwave in Kansas with the temperature expected to hit 100*F again with the heat index anywhere between 105*F to 110*F.
