My Galaga arcade machine is now operational

Galaga was my all time favorite arcade game back in the 80s.

So I had to have one...lol.

The sound was not working...but a bud of mine who's the king of audio installation...rewired it...and placed a new speaker as well.

All original...and it now works PERFECTLY!!!

    Beautiful screen & awesome sounds.

I will take a night picture later...then you'll see the bright colors in all its glory, lol.

It's setup for coins...so it also serves as a piggy bank...lol.

I do have a cover for it...so it's well protected.

I love my baby...I love my baby...I love my baby...

That's pretty cool. I have a Mat Mania arcade game in my sunroom.

It's in pretty sad shape, actually. The cabinet's a generic one that was a conversion, and the person that converted it did a really bad job... they cut the overlay on the playfield and the control panel overlay's in bad shape. The monitor's not that great, either. I just bought it because it was cheap ($200) and one of those games I could play for a long time on a single quarter; I haven't touched it in probably a year, though.

                Yeah, Galaga is awesome.

Other ones I love...Tron, Donkey Kong, Centipede, and Defender.

I was never a real big fan of PacMan though.

You are going to need a whole crew...because that thing weighs a ton, lol.

Besides, I have a great alarm system....and I'm getting another dog soon as well...plus it's a great neighborhood...I've been here for almost 20 years...and never had a brake in.

Hey Hector, do you keep it outside? Aren't you afraid rain will ruin it or that it will get stolen?

                            What rain?

Not a drop...just look at that roof...it's HUGE and it has shingles (probably useless if I lived in tornado country though, lol)...

                            Like I said...
