Who Here Is The Converse All Stars Expert?

I remember one of my fellow treasure hunters talking about Converse All Stars when they were still made in the U.S.A.

    Who was that?

I found this pair of vintage 80's Converse All Stars for a quarter (thanks to his advice). It has a bid on them already, and was just wondering what he thought.

    eBay Converse All Stars

I put this in general discussion because I wanted to discuss them (and other All Stars), not promote my auction. I don't think anyone here would be interested in them anyway.

They made Converse in the USA thru the 90's which, IMO, are when the shoes you have for auction are from--they don't appear 80's to me.

As for value, I can't imagine these going for much more than your opening bid (the size is really small), but with eBay who knows?

You were the one. I remember your leather boots and patchwork jacket you found and sold.

Little sales lke these are what help pay the eBay/Paypal fees. I found the complete Lionel Amtrek train at the same sale for $5. EBay is going to eat me alive when they close.

Yes, I am a vintage clothing dealer. I sell on eBay but also to the Japanese directly out of my basement. It's a fun way to make a living.
