A friend of mine gave me a Slap Chop...



I'll put it to the test later tonight...I'll make some salsa.

I'll tell you if it's a good product...or if it sucks, lol.

Here's the results and verdict on the effectiveness of the Slap Chop...

It's great for chopping hard and firm textured stuff like onions and chili peppers...but not so good for soft stuff like tomatoes and cilantro.

The Slap Chop mulches tomatoes, lol. I had to finish the tomato with a knife, the same applied to the cilantro.

But for onions and peppers...it gets an A+.

I actually like the Slap Chop...it will be my onion & chili pepper chopper from now on.

Sorry tomatoes and cilantro...I'll cut you by hand.

BTW...the Slap Chop is very easy to clean...it opens up like a butterfly...it was an easy wash.

Final Slap Chop rating (totaling the pros & cons)...

The big question, how long will the edges keep. Chopping harder stuff will dull the blades pretty quick.
