I dont like the accelerator suits. Looks too much like an Iron man rip off.

Not much of Cobra Commander in the trailer. Destro running the show?
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
      Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.
In the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever.

this GIJOE is based off the american hero chracters, not the 'adventure team' this movie has already made alot of fans mad cus its a bit different from what they grew up with. this is basicly re-invented for the next new generation since joe fans are 40 60 -20-30 year olds and hasbro needs new blood.

cobra commander will come out in the end they showed a picture of him he's not the 80's style cobra commander he's very different which i think will upset you. --------- and i've already accepted it. cus i'll support the film.

another thing is i heard theyre gonna make referance to the toyline i mean duke has that classic scarr on his cheek. as for the super suits i think kids will reconize it as Sigma Strike Duke any kid who owns this will remmeber it well. i think its great that this 'delta 6' suit plays a homage to sigma strike duke.

Very true; but it still bugs me that "re-invented" always seems to equal "becomes just like everything else." Sigma-6 bothered me 'cos instead of feeling like GI Joe it felt like a watered down Bubblegum Crisis. (Or pretty much ANY Japanese team cartoon....) GI Joe: Extreme! was.... well; it WAS the 90's....

Yeah.... One thing that impressed me about GI Joe Resolute was that they updated stuff without significant changes. (Except to Dial Tone. And Bazooka....) It CAN be done, it just never is.

i got into the 12inch classic line before the 3inch figures. as for sigma 6 i was like everyone else but. i changed my mind. thing is the day they were release i went to target i forgotten sigma 6 and i did feel empty with out GIJOE

thats when i saw father and sons gathering around the toy isle. i was curious as a father bough his son 2 figures--they wrre flying off the shelf. i step closer and it was sigma 6-- once i looked them over they reminded me of small soldiers (the root for my obbession for military toys) and i bough sigma 6 duke ever since then i was hooked.

so i'm easyer on the movie cus like i said its sigma 6 to me. --the sigma 6 cartoon wasn't that bad as some people think. it wasn't great but it was entertaining. (i never liked gijoe exstream)

we can agree on one thing...children need GIJOE cause GIJOE can be anything, and go anywhere. and exspand the imagination a child would have with joe...

It wasn't bad at all; and it had really high production values for a cartoon these days. I just thought it looked like a cheapo version of something else.... and I think the availability of 100% Japanese action cartoons contributed to it's minimal popularity: it reminded younger viewers of better things they've seen, and it was too different for the older viewers.

'Course, that's the hazard of redoing an old story: how much do you keep? Too much, and you'll probably cheese off the newer audience members who'll se it as old hat; not enough and you'll cheese off older audience members who won't recognize it so much.
