I thought I was the only one looking forward to this.
Hopefully they are saving the costumes for the actual movie.
I want to see a silver headed Destro, Cobra soldiers and Commander (new costume or not), etc etc.
If I was 10 years old again, I'd be ****ting my pants in anticipation of this movie.

wow. i would think i'd here 'it sucks' or 'its not my gijoe' like over at hisstank .com while they change some things i thinks its gonna rock and its perfect for a new generation -KIDS to get into the new GIJOE some old fans ***** cus its too 'sigma 6' but then i love the sigma 6 toyline.

Okay, I'll be the dissenter here. Baroness, Snake-Eyes and Storm-Shadow look good, everyone else is unrecognizable and the "power suit" angle is very odd. They take away some of the "sillier" trappings of GI Joe (their individual uniforms for instance), and then they give them these?

I will take the boy to see it, but I'm not expecting much. I may be pleasantly surprised like I was with Transformers, but I kind of doubt it.

I kinda liked how Resolute did it. They still had their unique outfits, but they'd be tailored a bit to be more realistic, while still looking like the old characters.

I am a huge GI Joe fan ... both comics and the old toon ... but I have my doubts about this movie, hope I'm wrong ... but I have strong doubts.

If it werent for the power suit thing, I would be looking forward to this a lot more.

Of course, I had hoped they would have based the film in the kung fu grip era, and had the GI Joe team (Land, sea, air...and the real bearded Joe), Atomic Man, and Bullet Man going after the infamous, nefarious pygmy gorilla...that little dude's always causing trouble and general international discord! Rumor has it he shaved his face, put on some 6 " lifts, and is running North Korea nowadays!
