You've been misinformed: the Catholic Church doesn't teach that.

The following is from The Catechism of the Catholic Church 2282 - 2283:

Grave psychological disturbances, anguish, or grave fear of hardship, suffering, or torture can diminish the responsibility of the one committing suicide.

We should not despair of the eternal salvation of persons who have taken their own lives. By ways known to him alone, God can provide the opportunity for salutary repentance. The Church prays for persons who have taken their own lives.

You might find that if you take the time to learn exactly what the Church teaches, people might not "jump all over you." Basically all you've done is attempted to validate your opinion by falsely asserting that it was a teaching of the Catholic Church. Technically, you've committed a heresy...

      Okay... I won't talk Religion...

I agree with the no religion talk ... especially right now while Brian and Dave are at Mego Meet.

It would be sad if they had to be bothered with Museum mod duties while they're having fun there.

For just this weekend let's all try to be on extra good behavior.

Caine taught peace, understanding and love for all.
Perhaps we can all hold on to that thought and leave Mr. Carradine (and this thread) in peace, also?

Dude, what part of the rules here regarding religious discussion don't you understand? That's why people are telling you to "keep your thoughts to yourself". There are plenty of other forums out there where you can take your ranting. Go find one and have fun.

Anyhoo, lets put them away guys.
Im seeing several different reports as to what happend. That his hands were tied, that they were tied above him, and that they werent tied. So I think this is going to be a case of the media wrecking the whole thing and we will probaly never know what really happend.
                      Kinda sad really.

To return to the original subject:
there was a BIG article here (in a Belgian newspaper), that the FBI were investigating the death of Carradine at the request of his family, who do not believe the suicide scenario.
                                Wow. The plot thickens....
