    Star Trek Star Fleet Tee

Just wondering if anyone that is interested has ordered any of these yet?

I think I am going to place an order for some soon. I just wanted to know if the are worth ordering? They kind of look neat. Not sure though. I would like to hear from some others that actually already have one. Thanks!

In addition to the Medical Science Officer shirt and Chief Engineer shirt there is also the Captain's shirt which I like. The Kirk shirt is on the back of a Cheez-it's box.

As a kid, I had something similar to the first item listed in the link below.

Does anyone remember having a Trek T-shirt that had a stitched-on, embroidered Star Fleet Patch, sort of similar to these?

            $10?

I might buy one for $10.

I ran across this ad a few times recently and thought they would be cool but not for $25.00

This is the image, sometime last night images quit working for me in the middle of a thread. I don't know why. It is irritating, but here is the link to the shirt and the site.

            Captain Kirk costume t-shirt

For $25 I wasn't interested but Michaels had "craft tees" on sale for $2 and I bought all the Trek colors and now I wear them around the house.

When I worked on the Starship Exeter fan film I had a Red Shirt I wore every night that I worked. I was surprised that no one caught on that I was doing misc duty and I was expendable/interchangeable and I was a "Red Shirt" but oh well.

So that shirt might be cool with the black collar. I'm also curious if anyone gets one.

I can't see the ad that well but I went to cheez-it.com. Is that a box of Cheez-its and $10 for that shirt? It doesn't seem to mention that on the website.

You know, in 5th grade I had the short sleeve shirt Kirk wore in STTMP. That was the coolest shirt I had. But I only wore it to school once because I was teased about it. I think I threw it away at some point. But I was also the new Kid that year, having just moved into not only the school, but the state.

Now I'm thinking it may be cool to make a wearable Kirk Green shirt. I've seen some online that are costumes and Dry Clean Only, etc. But it should not be hard to make a long sleeve Tshirt that is washable and replicates a TOS shirt perhaps?

Or I'll stick with my "casual" green Tshirt perhaps.

The white shirt I mean is featured as the first pic on this site with Kirk at left and Bones at right (on the Bridge).

Here you go. I went ahead and scanned the back of the box. I also did not add any watermark to the image so that you can see it better.

I really would like to find a really nicely made and detailed Kirk shirt just like the one that was worn in TOS series. Black collar around the neck and long sleeve with the arm band ranks and all. The closest thing that I have seen to it without really looking all over the net was an original Sulu shirt prop. I want the Kirk shirt because I am going to be buying me a life size replica of the Kirk chair once my building is finished and I get settled in.

Has anyone seen one that looks really close to Kirk's real shirt on TOS series?

There used to be a website called "Starfleettailor.com" that had some good stuff. I think the TOS shirts were $200.00. I am pretty sure they got in trouble though because they started to emphasize they were a TAILORING service, not a COSTUME company, but they sold everything. It was all Dry Clean only. I wanted the Wrap Around and the Mirror Costume they had but they were in the $200.00 or so range at the time.

I emailed them last month or so to check on them because their site is gone/down and I have heard nothing. It was perhaps 5yrs ago that I last emailed them. Apparently 5yrs ago I was still trying to lose 20lbs. AAAGGGHHH. That is not good.

I thought I had since found another similar service. I'll let you know if I dig it up. Dry clean only/be careful how you wear it is not an issue for you? I have not found anything like a "Costume" that could be worn like a Series shirt. Roll around, run, jump, play etc. but I know the series probably went through a new shirt every 4 episodes or so. I think Kirk got his shirt ripped about every 4 episodes anyway.

I'll look later and see what I can come up with for you.

Is that a CheezIt box? I still can't tell by looking at it. I assume that is a CheezIt box. Or maybe also another Kellog's box?

                      OH.

And I know the patterns exist. But with all the Mego Tailors on this website, I BET someone here could make a wearable, full-size shirt that is TOS accurate. I mean, if they can do it to 1/9 Scale with a sewing machine, wouldn't it be EASY to do it full size?

Maybe Spiderrogue or Theressa will chime in about that?

                          I found this http://starfleet1701st.yuku.com/

I'm working on my crew so I had to look up the TWOK uniform and found this.

I would be willing to pay $200.00 for the custom shirt so long as of course that it is of great quality and very detailed like the original shirt itself.

That is a bummer! Probably copyright infringement issues no doubt. That sucks! I never could understand why a company that owns the licensing to something that is in such demand does not make and sell the items and or products that consumers are more than willing to purchase. ???????

No issue for me here at all. I always take really good care of all of my stuff so that would not be a problem on the dry clean only. Most everything I own looks as new as the day that I bought it.

Yes, I would imagine so. The Mugato's liked to claw up shirts.

Thanks again! I know someone out there has to make and or offer these for sale. There are just too many Trek fans out there that look for and buy stuff exactly like this.

There is some very talented people here no doubt. I am sure that there is someone that could do it if they so desired to do so. Whether they would be willing to want to take on this task would be another story though.
