I'm not usually one to go all personal on the boards, but can't help it.
11 months ago I was pushing my size 42 stretch waist pants to their max and on the verge of saying howdy to size 44's. Always a depressing turn of events. On a routine Doc visit they made me step on the scale as they always do and it tipped 270. UGH! Not a good day.
Here I am at Megomeet one year ago.

Being pretty upset over this, (not to mention this picture) I went home and started walking. Every day rain or shine. Cut out fast food, not really dieting, just eating smarter. Started losing a few pounds and set myself a dream goal that I didn't think was possible. If I could just fit into a size 36 again, man that would be cool!
Got halfway there and got stuck, so consulted our own resident PT, toys2cool, who set me up with some weight training excercises (thanks much man!). For the last 6 months I've hit the gym 3x per week, every week for about 2 hours each time.
Today was a big payoff for me, since I just got back from buying jeans. SIZE 36! I was so geeked I bought all in that size they had. First time these hips have seen 36 since high school.
I'm not ever going to be "small", I'm just not built that way, so for my build, size 36 is about all I can ever expect. Also managed to loose the X in front of my shirt size. Total loss at this point is 65lbs.
