ATTN: KISS fans

I just found these at a Wal-Mart today. I have never seen these before so I am guessing that they are new.

Below is a teaser picture of a hand full of packs that I picked up. I have yet to open them yet as today was kind of busy for me. My gf and I were out running around car shopping and shopping and more shopping so now I am about wiped out sleep wise. I will open up some of them later on and take more pictures. I am real curious as to how the cards look. I hope they are neat looking. I don't know how much these were per pack. I will have to look at my receipt. I just grab up a bunch and threw them in my cart at the time. If they are neat I will go back and buy a lot more.

I just thought I would share this with any Kiss and or non sport card collectors.

That was kind of the same thing that I thought when I found them. I just hope that they are neat looking and not a bunch of duds. I am so wiped out right now my eyes are starting to feel real heavy.

I promise I will open some up though and post the pictures tomorrow. I got to go get some sleep. I got up waaaaay to early today than usual. The kicker part is I am going to "try" and get up half way early tomorrow and run the thrift store circuit to see what I can find if anything. Wish me luck!

I bought a couple of "blaster" boxes at Target. I Think they're cool. I've done some trading with Hotfoot and spaceace35, still trying to finish the set. Let me know if you get any doubles.

I don't know about you guys, but this is like the mids early to mid 70's to me all over again. New Mego's (EMCE's) , New KISS cards.....New Trek movie (for whatever that is worth...love it or hate it) Vintage Hot Wheels (even know they are replicas of the real deal).....This year just keeps getting better and better as far as being a kid. Or being an adult that is still in his second child hood. The year 2009 is the new 1970's.

Ok gang,

I am happy to report that I FINALLY have some pictures for your viewing pleasure as promised. I do not know about you guys, but I am pretty thrilled with these cards. They looked much better to me than I originally expected.

Here are pictures of two packs of cards that I just opened this AM. There are five cards to a pack OR at least that is what each pack is supposed to contain per the package any way.

It kind of looks like I have already been screwed this morning....There are only 9 cards....The second pack I opened only contained 4 cards instead of 5. At least I can say that I got a KISS with my screwing this morning.





Just look at this beautiful art work.... Just like the Kiss group potrait that I remember growing up with.

Well....It looks like I am definitely hooked on these cards already. Even despite me being screwed out of a card already I will definitely be buying more of these real soon. Very nice in my opinion.

Believe it or not KISS is releasing ANOTHER set of cards this fall, entitled 'KISS 360'. Many people are suggesting that could be the title of their new album coming out at the same time, but that is speculative at this point.

2/3 of the way through with my base set of 90 cards 12 stickers and 8 tattoos. I don't go in for all the various chase cards. If I get one in the pack its a pleasant surprise.

You are most certainly welcome. Glad that you like the pictures of the cards. I really wasn't planning on collecting these cards or anything else new either. However, I much like yourself have decided to collect these to. After seeing the neat artwork and pictures it is hard not to. I keep telling myself Mego's....Just Mego's.....only Mego's.....Even at that I still I find myself straying away from my real love of Mego's every now and then. Mego's was to be my main goal and at times I still end up falling prey to neat stuff like these cards. I need to buy me a set of blinders. Maybe that would help me stay focused.

It sounds like you are off to a really great start on your card collection. I do not even have an idea of what a chase card looks like yet. I do not necessarily go after those cards specifically although I definitely would not toss one away if I happen to find one.
