That's one of the main goals of Vegas in recent years...to MAKE it a "family place"
If you have families there with family members who wouldn't otherwise be there
without their entire family that's bonus bodies in the casions...period.
Vegas in 2007 is very much a family place and will continue to grow in that direction
If other cities (i.e. Biloxi, Atlantic City etc.) want to make more profit
---I suggest they take a hint from VegasLeave a comment:

I don't go to Casino's so I don't know that much about them but to me it would seem like the Casino's are not into family activities. They make money when people gamble and since Kids can't gamble, I don't think they have any incentive to do anything for kids Or maybe they could get them into play gambling to get them started when they grow up.
If you don't think casinos care about the "family scene", you never been to Vegas. There as much for a family to do out there as central Florida without spending a dime gambling. Casinos care very much about the family scene (other than Biloxi's casinos, apparently).
I am not a big gambler, do it once or twice a year. If I wanted to just gamble, I could have saved the $400 for the room and hit one of 6 casinos within 45 minutes of my house (including 2 with 10 miles).
I am sure Atlantic City is very family oriented as well.Last edited by theantiquetiger; Aug 5, '07, 6:16 PM.Leave a comment:

I went to Biloxi this weekend, and man is it a ghost town. I know it was hit by Katrina, but there is nothing for kids to do. The beach is nasty, and there are no arcades, mini-putts, etc.
I use to go there 2 or 3 times a year as a kid and there was ALOT of stuff to do. Now its a ghost town other than the casinos. I wish the casinos could have done something for the family scene.
Even the casinos in Vegas have stuff for kids.Tags: None
