Doesn't matter who you are, doesn't matter near or far.
Somebody's brother, somebody's son, somebody's relative sleeps w/a gun.
So many miles, so many days. Love, hope and prayers whispered in so many ways.
Emotional wells, overflowing with tears. Tears of joy, tears of faith, sadness and fear.
Still when the vision is finally embraced, the story of our lives become enlaced.
Every vet, from every charge, you are remembered and Thanked by enlarge.
For all lost words, for all physical pain our hearts embrace all that remains.
Homefires stoked, letters, email, and satallite phones, terrorism revoked, You can finally return home.
All Sacrifices; small to large on a scale the measures only the heart. Love, Trust, and
Inspiration will guide us all. Soldiers, Great warriors, from the large
barrelled man to Boy 3 ft tall. Heads are held high with confidence and pride.
Flags of our fathers, gifts from our mothers, used to swaddle the infant and to protect the infantry.........
