Land of the Lost Marathon on SciFi

Just saw a commercial for classic LOTL all-day marathon tomorrow on SciFi Channel. Looks like it runs from 8 AM Eastern to 4 AM Tuesday Morning.

Just checked the online guide...They are showing all but the last three episodes, in order, from the beginning.

Like the POTA TV series, the land of the lost never had a finale! Great show though! Mego's should have been made of those guys!

I tried watching it this morning.

I got bored and turned it off after only 5 minutes

Yeah, it's been a little bit of a struggle to watch. When the stop motion dinos are more expressive than the humans, then you know your imagination is working overtime. But it is nostalgic in it's own right, so I give it a biased thumbs-up regardless. A fun staple of the mid-70's.

Yeah, like most shows we loved as a kid, it's hard to watch as an adult. It's great for a nostalgic visit though and my son likes the dinosaurs. He wants to go see the movie now.

Actually at first I hated the idea but from what I've seen so far from the trailers its begining to sway me.
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
                        Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

I thought the episode, "The Stranger" was pretty good. That's the one where they first meet Enik and get his backstory. The episode was written by Walter Koenig.

If you have missed recording them or are bummed that they aren't airing the last three episodes during this marathon, fear not: SciFi is going to be airing another marathon June 4th and 5th and during that one, the last three episodes are slated to air.
