Hot Fuzz

My wife and I just finished watching Hot Fuzz, starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, (both from Spaced and Shaun of the Dead) on DVD and loved it.

It was hilarious, but, sadly, it was more or less a box office bomb.

Did anyone else out there see and enjoy it?

The kids and I saw it in the theatre and loved it. We just got the DVD also, but haven't watched it yet.

I saw it in the movie theater and shortly after I got a copy of the movie now I'm waiting to get the DVD cause they are famous for the awesome commentaries they do! I actually watch SOTD with the comments on now! It's just so funny.

Plus, I love Bill Nighy, if I had one thing I didn't like about Hot Fuzz is that it didn't have enough Bill for me, but I guess it's for the "Greater Good" Still, it's a great movie! Simon and Edgar know how to put a package together!

Just watched it last night on DVD. I enjoyed it, but I have to admit it was not as amusing as I had hoped. Still a good rental, but glad I didn't buy it.

Just watched it as well. It was one of those I thought kind of slow and a little too serious the first hour. Then it became clear the first hour was setting up the 2nd hour which was out and out hilarious.

It was a very good movie. I saw it in a theatre when it first came out. It is a shame that it didn't do better at the box office here.

YES! My husband and I saw it in the Theatre and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was one of those movies we knew we would buy on DVD and did so as soon is it came out last week. I didn't think it was possible to enjoy it more the second time around, but I did. What a great movie!

I saw and loved it as well. My neighbour is somehow related to the director by marriage and spent her summer vacation in the village where they filmed this.
