Hey,
Today has been a good day for us. To begin with, all of Declan's bloodwork has been wonderful, giving us very good hope that there was not any oxygen deprivation involved with whatever this problem is. No further seizure activity today at all. Declan has been very calm today, and his eyes, which were all over the place and not moving together yesterday, are now trying to focus and moving in tandem with each other. He is actually turning to find Lisa when he hears her voice as well.
He is on the books tomorrow for the MRI and EEG, and, hopefully, they will start him on oral food tomorrow. Right now they are giving all nutrients via IV line.
Thank you thank you all for you kind words and keeping us in your prayers. You truely do not know how it strengthens both of us to know that there is a network of good people that are pulling for us in their thoughts and prayers. Lisa and I are both heartened and humbled by your kindness.
I will keep you informed.
