Hey BLUE MEANIE or ANY Beatles LP Collector!

I know Roberto collects Beatles stuff but anyone who knows this stuff I could use some help. I'm into LP's but Beatles stuff is not my focus.

Anyway, I recently pulled what seems to be the 1st rare Ed Rudy lp--the Open End one including the 3 page script. Funny that it is housed in the more common 2nd Ed Rudy lp jacket and autographed by Mr Rudy on the back. (guidebooks say it came with a blank jacket).

Anyway, my question is if this thing has been booted. I know the second one was booted a ton and even had a legit second issue in 1980, but I can't find anything about the first one on INS Radio News. I wanna be sure before I offer it for sale that it is NOT a boot.

    Anybody?

I'm not 100% sure, but if i'm reading my "official" Beatles price guide correctly, your blue label disc is a reissue and made in 1980.

    Value (circa 1995) -- $10.00 - $25.00

The original 1964 disc label should be yellow
The 1965 disc label should be orange

Hope this helps, but don't 100% trust this info until someone else confirms it.

If you'd like, i'll scan you the page with the info tomorrow.
    Just let me know

Are you sure you are not looking at the listing for the one on Radio Pulsebeat? Remember, THE COVER pictured is for the second "American Tour With Ed Rudy"--THE RECORD is the first one--called "Beatlemania Tour Coverage"--I don't think it came with a yellow label....I'm fully aware of the "blue label" reissue of the 2nd Ed Rudy lp (I alluded to it in my post)....

Anyway, I would be interested if you can check again, if there was a reissue of this lp...

You are correct ... I was looking at the wrong one.

The Beatlemania Tour Coverage ones reads as follows ......
Seems like the same info you already have ...............

        BEATLEMANIA TOUR COVERAGE
        INS Radio News DOC-1
Promotion only - Blue label with silver
print - Open-end interview distributed by
Ed Rudy Productions - Issued in a plain
white cover with one page interview script ($100) -
        Issued 1964

It does not mention how to spot fakes on this issue.

Thanks, Mike. Huh, my script is 3 pages.

I'm not entirely sure if this has ever been booted.
