I used to like Earl....Then, about the time Randy and Earl went to Mexico....and then Prison, the show just lost its way completely. If somebody else picks it up I hope they return to the buffoonery of the first couple seasons!

As for King of the Hill, I heard they had enough in the can to run it for part of a season next year. Anything else they have come up with lately has been wretched (American Dad) to downright horrific (Sit Down, Shut Up), so I could see them hanging on to it. There was a rumor Fox was going to pick up the Bob and Doug McKenzie cartoon too. Since it blows chunks on a ginormic scale, I'm sure they will.

^^ The prison storyline on Earl was fun stuff, and I'm sure was done to freshen up the show that was sort of getting into a formula rut.

Yeah...I guess I could see that. I just miss the goofy nature the show originally had.

Dangit. I'm going to miss Earl.

Now we'll never find out who Earl Jr's real Daddy is.

Funny, American Dad is probably my favourite of the bunch, haven't watched KOTH in years, I turn the TV off when it's on. Just lost interest in it ages ago.

Shut Up, Sit Down is really sub par considering all the talent involved with it.

I watched one episode of the McKenzie Brothers show and actually liked it but 7:30 is a dodgy time for me to watch TV.

I could never get into American Dad. None of the characters really jump out at me. As for King of the Hill, I think that its best strength is its greatest weakness. It never changes...its the same old feel every episode. Some like that, some dont.

Bob and Doug...I've seen most of them so far. They have a couple of moments (Mother in the oldfolks home episode/high school episode), but theres a lot of ....wasted space....too. I'm kinda bummed Rick Moranis isnt doing Bob's voice as well, even though he is listed as a producer?

And wheres the Kuru-kookoo- koo Caa coo coo call?

Should we put Hank Hill on Wrathdemons "Death Watch" list?

Not even the little guy in my avatar? The show is hit or miss with me (it's been steadily getting better though), but I love Roger, I'd watch it just for him.

Y'know; I didn't like it when it started, but the last season or two have been pretty good. Which is funny; 'cos I used to like Family Guy, but the last few seasons haven't been that funny for me.

                    >haven't watched KOTH in years

I couldn't get into it 'cos it's animated; but there's no reason it HAS to be animated. Don't like "Sit Down, Shut Up" either. It feels really paint-by-numbers.

Yeah, somewhere along the line Family Guy slipped and American Dad felt stronger to me. I think it has a lot to do with the characters growing and the American Dad's more straight forward storytelling.

I used to find that really charming, it was the only show that didn't need to be animated but after a while I got tired of everything. It's been on since my bachelour days, it had a good run.

I Love Family Guy and American Guy. I think Roger could have a really good Spin off. Imagine all the stories he could do if he had his own show. I'm really gonna miss Earl. That show was funny

On an other note. I would like Fox to bring back Futurama. Bender Rocks.

It's a shame how Fox treated Futurama, it was a great show and they almost seemed to purposely bury it in their schedule so the audience had a hard time finding it. At least they later decided to do some new ones on DVD, but it's just not the same.

Futurama was my favourite show when it originally aired, Fox treated it like crap and then cancelled it. They couldn't even pull a Family Guy and bring it back even though it would have been a smash, these made for video movies are so weak that I didn't even bother to rent the last one.

Yeah, I had high hopes for the DVD releases, but gave up after the first two, they just didn't have the same spark as the series. I love how Fox messed around with the show's scheduling, and then when they canceled it, they blame it on "low ratings". Gee, I wonder why? After they brought back Family Guy (something that had never been done by a network before), I hoped Futurama would be next but it wasn't to be.

Billy West was on Coast to Coast AM about a month ago. He said Fox were still contemplating returning it to prime time. The DVD's ,while horrid, sold ok, and the ratings for the new movies when they were aired on tv were pretty good. Still...could just be the guy putting a bug in the ear of the public, hoping they start protesting for the shows return down at Fox?
