Question for current or former Walmart associates

If the toy department has sheets of paper taped up and down the isles with diagrams of new product coming out and where it will be placed on the shevles, how long is it before this new product gets there? That night? A week? Just curious. One store next to me had sheets showing the new Icon figures and the GI Joes.

well I'm not an employee, but I've seen them stocking the isles at night like from 10-12 am so I'm guessing if the signs are put there they should be up tonight ,but my Wal-mart is opened 24 HRS

Thanks for posting this question. I'd like the answer, too... I've seen those pieces of paper (I think they're called planograms) at my local Wal-mart in the past, and it really seems to vary how long they stay up.

The department heads usually put those sheets up within a day or so of any planned changes to the layout.
