Something that bothers me about the NBA

I'm watching the Rockets /Lakers and noticed the bigger star you are, the less you get called for fouling. Case in point, Kobe Bryant, I see the guy hack players and never get a foul call. I see the average joe schmo player do the same thing and it's a foul. Jordan also had the same thing. In his so-called last shot he pushed the mialman to get it. It should have been a foul but the refs didn't want Jordan to go out a loser. I just think it should be the same for all players.

actually that was Russell he pushed off of not the Mailman and yeah that was one of the worse missed calls ever!

Well it's not really like that,it's more that the Stars get the foul calls a lot. They don't want the super stars getting hurt.

I know D-Wade gets to the foul line a lot,but so does Kobe,LeBron,CP3 and other guys.

The only reason why you won't see Kobe getting called a lot is because he's known for being a great Defensive player,so he will get calls going his way a lot of the time

Thanks Damian now I remember. Jordan always whined when he thought he was fouled. Great player but that always annoyed me.

Sometimes I like the "no call" at the end of a game -- especially during the Playoffs. However, the refs must be consistent with the "no call." Sometimes you gotta just let them play.

I agree, but a push off like that or the no call on the intentional foul in the Dallas Denver game is just crazy

I don't know if that was a push off. They both were moving in that direction, Jordan did have his hand on the other guy's hip, that call could have gone either way.

I am not a pro sports fan (especially NBA), so I have no bias opinion here (maybe a little with Jazz actually because of the Jazz and Malone, both from Louisiana).

Jordan was so quick on his feet, he looked liked he just made the guy lose his jock trying to make the turn back.

no way, definitely a push off. After that happened they actually had a thing where they asked officials and many said it was a blown call
