Did you see it? It was funny. It poked a little fun at the obsessed fans but not nearly as strongly as the "get a life" Shatner skit.

Yeah, I loved the bit with Pine and Quinto where they talked about how faithful the new film was being to the established Trek cannon with star dates, and inertial dampers, and way transporters worked... etc.

Haven't watched SNL in ages. Had to youtube it. I guess it was kinda like Shatner's old SNL skit but, you know, with out the funny. Nimoy was good though.You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. I wouldn't have watched it had you not pointed it out. Sometimes the time difference works in my favor, LOL. SNL just isn't that funny to me anymore so I rarely watch it. It did make me laugh a few times so I guess it did it's job.
